TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FORUM

Technology Transfer Forum 2010

Technology Transfer Forum (TTF) is an interactive and educational platform designed to introduce the process of commercialisation of scientific findings. TTF emphasises on the practicality of Technology Transfer by facilitating informative visits to different organisations with Technology Transfer facilities in and around the University of Nottingham. These visits are designed to illustrate the process of technology commercialisation from ideas to capital generation. The visits are then followed by a panel discussion, in which delegates will hear from a panel of experts in technology transfer including Dr Simon Mosey, Dr Bruce Venning and Dr Eddie French. TTF10 is honored to have an opening speech addressed by Dr Richard Masterman (Director of Research Innovation Service) and closing remarks by Mike Southon (Serial Entrepreneur and Financial Times Columnist).

The aim of this event is to raise awareness, introduce and inspire entrepreneurs in the field of technology and showcase the processes of converting scientific and technological advances into marketable goods and services. We strongly believe this is a huge step forward for interdisciplinary collaboration and encouraging entrepreneurship spirits in scientists. TTF10 is a non-exclusive event, however it is mainly designed for PGR and PDR researchers.
