Nottingham Entrepreneurship Forum March 26th 2011

 

Thank you for attending Nottingham Entrepreneurship Forum 2011 on Saturday. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did. This is the second year we run NEF and intend to run the event again next year, with greater speakers, workshops and presentations. Special mention and thank you to the support from UNIEI (University of Nottingham Institute for Enterprise and Innovation), and the opportunity for us to co-host the finals of the Business Plan Competition as part of NEF. Congratulations to all the winners of the Business Plan Competition and the NE Apprentice Challenge this year! We will continue to promote and reward entrepreneurship spirit through competitions such as the two mentioned above next year, and to deliver events to inspire entrepreneurship and support students in their effort to establish new enterprises.

NEF 2011 - Practical Tips on Starting Your Own Business (by Swati Bhargava) - Pouring Pounds

From keynote speakers and experience exchanges to practical workshops and networking, the NEF (Nottingham Entrepreneurship Forum) brings together students and researchers from across the UK in a dynamic day of inspiration, knowledge and skills development, network building and celebration. 

 

NEF welcomes guests including students from Universities across UK and members of the public interested in or has a business, mostly around Midlands area. It is a full day event with speakers, interactive workshops and a networking dinner. Starting from 10.30am to around 9pm, this year we will be hosting the NEF with the Business Plan Competition Finals and the Prize ceremony is within the programme. The finalists from the competition will be pitching to judges on the day and have prepared short pitches to audiences. Furthermore, we will be presenting prizes to winners of the NE Apprentice Challenge that is running on 21-25 March.
