Welcome to Nottingham Entrepreneurs 2011/2012:

Nottingham Entrepreneurs (NE) aims to inspire interest in entrepreneurship and support entrepreneurial students in their efforts to establish new enterprises.

Nottingham Entrepreneurs aims to provide a platform to inspire and develop the future generation of entrepreneurs. The society provides its members with the resources and support to use, such as relationships with successful businesses, informative events and collaborative activity with like-minded organizations.

Through our unique events, we aim to give students a fun & informal outlet to become actively involved in business projects in order to gain hands on experience and much sought after skills!

NE would like to thank all who attended the recent Nottingham Entrepreneurship Taster Event. Also a massive thank you to last years committee who arranged for Steve Lewis, Nick Barker, Edward Lester, Dan Edge, Chris Bates, Lisa Ward, Kimberley Hodgson and Swati Bhargava for delivering amazing speeches and workshops. Our next event is on the 4th November and is called Business by night and will be taking place on November 4th - details will be up soon. Also remember we have a £500 winning prize event coming up soon: Nottingham University's Apprentice. Live the Apprentice challenge in this week long event dates still to be announced.

Nottingham Entrepreneurs came Highly Commended for the Midlands Business Awards 2011 for Business Club of the Year. The awards ceremony was on the 28th of January at Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel. More information about the ceremony can be found on the official website. http://www.midlandsbusinessawards.com/ .
